A couple of months ago, I was offered a Ninja blender and I have LOVED using it for all kinds of things. But the things I've enjoyed making the most are smoothies and juices. They're a great way to start the day on a healthy foot, and they just make me feel good.

Sometimes I just use what's in the refrigerator - oranges, ginger, kale, and apples. Other times, I look at what I have in the freezer - berries, mango, or frozen pineapple. This little baby, though, is my current fave: an orange + frozen mango + lemon + lime + ginger. So good.

If you want to go full-on tropical, I recommend this Pineapple Mango Smoothie. All you need is 3 ingredients and it's ready in 5 minutes.

Mango is a refreshing way to start the day, and it's one of my go-to fruits on a hot day. If you're lucky enough to find some green mangoes, I highly recommend making aam panna, a spiced mango drink. It's very popular in India for beating the heat.

If you're hankering for a green smoothie, however, make this Spinach Smoothie with Strawberries! It's ready to drink in about 5 minutes.

I have been wanting a Ninja for-ever, now. But I do have a nice blender with a smoothie setting, so I could still make your smoothie perfectly, at least!
