Every year I look back to see what readers' favorite recipes were. First I review the stats for recipes newly published this year. Then I look at all-time favorites. It gives me ideas of where to focus for the following year, so that I'm not only publishing recipes I want to make again and again. I also want to publish recipes you want to see too. Recipes that pull you into the kitchen.

After all, many of you may be new to this blog, and if so, this may help you wade through the 500+ recipes I have published through the years.

First, let's take a look at Readers' 10 Favorite Recipes that were published in 2021. Three of them fall in the "How-To" category that form an important building block to cooking oodles of vegetarian, vegan or recipes with meat / fish. Four of the top 10 recipes are meals. One is a snack that can also be an ingredient in many recipes. One is a sauce with French origins, and one post was a meal plan published last winter.

I have 3 different mailing lists. Although many subscribers subscribe to all 3 lists, many have chosen specific newsletter topics to receive. I try my best to group them so you never ever get more than 1 newsletter per week. What I liked about the results this year is that posts from each newsletter group is represented in readers' favorite recipes this year.

I hope that means I have the right mix of newsletter categories of food.

This coming week, I'll do a roundup of readers' all-time favorites here on The Wimpy Vegetarian!
