6 Last-Minute Side Dishes for Thanksgiving

    November 23, 2020 Leave a Comment

Last- minutes side dishes for Thanksgiving.

We have enough to do on Thanksgiving without spending a lot of time on extra dishes. Am I right? That's where these 6 last-minute side dishes come in.

I chose them because either the prep was 15 minutes or less, and / or at least a major part of the recipe could be done ahead. As in the previous day.

And they're all big on flavor.

As a note, the Maple Candied Carrots with Currants were on Food Network a few years ago (yay!!!), and my Boozy Cranberry Sauce with Pears and Raisins was in Parade Magazine.

    Maple Candied Carrots with Currants

    VEGAN     GLUTEN-FREE     < 5 INGREDIENTS     15-MINUTE PREP

Get the recipe here ==> Maple Candied Carrots with Currants

Spiralized Sweet Potatoes and Apples in Citrus Butter

EASILY MADE VEGAN     READY IN 30 MINUTES     MAKE AHEAD

spiralized sweet potatoes and apples in browned butter

    Easy Buttermilk Cornbread

    15 MINUTE PREP     MAKE AHEAD

    Miso Mashed Potatoes Stuffed Mushrooms

GLUTEN-FREE      20-MINUTE PREP (IF ALSO MAKING THE MUSHROOMS)

Get the recipe here ==> Miso Mashed Potatoes Stuffed Mushrooms

Note: If you prefer, nix the roasted mushroom caps, and just make the mashed potatoes.

Round up of appetizers, cocktails, cider, breads and condiments you can make for your vegetarian Thanksgiving. This collection ends with some fabulous desserts, because dessert for Thanksgiving is mandatory.

Boozy Cranberry Sauce with Pears and Raisins

VEGAN     GLUTEN-FREE     MAKE AHEAD     15-MINUTE PREP

Get the recipe here ==> Boozy Cranberry Sauce with pears and Raisins

Note: This is one of my recipes that appeared in Parade several years ago.
