    Figs

    Fresh figs have a very short season in the late summer and very early fall. These are some ways to use both fresh and dried figs for both sweet and savory dishes.

    This Spiced Fig Jam is one I make with fresh figs every year and use it all fall and winter. The instructions include directions and tips for canning the jam.
