I'm Susan, thank you for visiting my food blog! I enrolled in culinary school after many years in business as a gift to myself to follow my heart and create a life around food. I've now fallen in love with writing and photography as well, and am thoroughly enjoying this new life I'm still creating.
Inspired by the book "In Defense of Food", I began infusing more fruits, vegetables, and whole grains into my everyday diet. Meat and fish will never be completely gone from my diet, but they're no longer the main event on my plate.
